Having an experience of about 30 years within the Government of India, drafting and executing policies on R&D, IP creation, Technology & Business Development, her core expertise lies in Project Finance & Management; Technology Development & Commercialization; Setting up new institutions and building Public-Private Partnership ecosystemwithin Institutions, universities, MSME and Technology clusters. Linking major funding departments namely DBT, BIRAC, DST, CSIR, DAE with relevant industry &Industrial associations such as CII, FICCI, ASSOCHAM etc. for mutual growth has been a part of her journey in the government system.

She has dealt with all technical, legal and financial issues related to public and commercial funding; litigations and recoveries. A Biotechnologist by training, she hashands-on experience in IP-creation and clinical trials for early, middle & late-stage vaccines/diagnostics/devices. She has been into various models of investments in start-up ecosystem i.e. Angel, Seed, Accelerator and Venture across sectors.

She always carries a resolve towards “Atmanirbhar Bharat” with alignment to “Make-in-India” activities not only to upscale and commercialize hi-tech technologies but also to find solutions to social problems through innovations, technology & local entrepreneurship. Social & economic goals of the Government has been crucial milestones in all her projects, thus meeting the “Sustainable Development Agenda 2030”.

Shealso runs a Not-for-profit organization,Chandrabimb Foundation (cbf) with a committed and resourceful team that works on Public Policy, Healthcare Solutions, Techno-Agri-Solutions and Techno-Legal Interventions for upcoming Ventures.
